peck ritchey is the best. You can only get it at some place called “Peck Ritchey” if you’ve been to Japan. The place is huge and has a variety of things. The first time I went I was blown away by the amount of sake and sake-related offerings. It was also a little scary because the place felt like an actual restaurant. The food is great–and the employees are all very good.
I’ve always had a thing for sake and all of those delicious food experiences, and was in Japan for a few days for some of the sake tasting. But the thing that I wasn’t expecting was the staff. Not only do they love to drink it–they drink it at all hours, all day. It was almost like an after-hours gathering, and they were all just so lovely and funny.
In another note, the staff is also very friendly, and the food is really well done. But the staff is definitely made of sterner stuff.
