I’ve been thinking about the three levels of self-awareness that we’ve been thinking about in the last few weeks. I’ve talked a lot about the three levels of self-awareness and have talked about the three levels of self-care. However, what I don’t want to talk about is the level of self-consciousness in which we’ve been feeling when we’re asked about our self-care habits.
The first question I want to ask is “how much of a self-aware person would you really be if you were asking about your own self-consciousness”.
I think that this question would be a hard one for most of us to answer. It is impossible to quantify the level of self-consciousness that we all have. We are all aware of our own thoughts and feelings, we all have our own thoughts and feelings, so by asking how much self-aware we are, we are asking how much conscious we are about our thoughts. The answer is probably “very little,” if we are at all self-aware.
And I think that we are all self-aware when we are aware of our thoughts and feelings. No question. We all have this awareness of our thoughts. It’s only when we are in a state of unconsciousness that we are unaware of our thoughts and feelings. We are not unconscious when we are in deep sleep (like the last time we were in a coma).
Self-awareness is a very difficult thing to pin down. It’s a state that takes years or even decades to achieve, but without it we are all kind of stupid. If you ask many people what they think of a particular person or thing, they will all tell you that they feel that person or thing to be extremely self-aware. The implication being that if they are aware of their thoughts and feelings, they must also be aware of their feelings.
The fact is that the best way to find out if a person is consciously aware of themselves is to look at the person’s profile, the personality, and the behavior of the person. For example, a person with a name like “Angel” might know that they are an angel. Or, you might think they are someone who is a “bitchy” about their gender.
There’s a really simple way to do this. Look at the person’s profile and their behavior. If they act like they are someone who is very aware of their own thoughts and feelings, they must also be aware of those thoughts and feelings. If they act like they are someone who is very self-aware, they must also be aware of their own thoughts and feelings.
I wouldn’t call this a “life-changing game” and I don’t think that’s a good thing, but it would be nice to have a way to help the person who has a name like Angel who is aware of their own thoughts and feelings.
Cathieb is a game where the player assumes the role of a character who is very aware of their own thoughts and feelings about various subjects. When they think of a subject, they can think of a lot of things about that subject, but one of those things, if cathieb were to think of it, would be that they are a vampire.
You’re not a vampire, Cathieb. You’re just a guy who thinks he’s a vampire. That’s not a particularly exciting thought, but it’s something you can think about.
